Homeless Services

The Letcher County Public Schools offer services to families and/or students that may be homeless or in danger of being homeless.  These services are offered through the state funded McKinney-Vento Program and ensures all homeless youth are enrolled in school and have the opportunity to succeed academically.  The District Homeless Liaison, Regina Cornett, coordinates services between families, school staff, shelter workers, and other providers to offer assistance to families that qualify.   If you or someone you know who is homeless or in danger of being homeless, contact Regina Cornett at 606-633-4455 ext. 16 for further information.

If you or someone you know fall within the guidelines listed below, please contact Ms. Cornett.
