Parents of Kindergarten, 6th, and 11th grade students, please make sure your child’s required immunization record has been updated as required by 702 KAR 1:160. If your child has completed their required immunizations, please send the completed and updated documents to your child’s school. If not, schedule an appointment as soon as you can with your child’s healthcare provider. There will be a parent meeting for WMS students who are interested in archery on Thursday, November 21st at 5:00 PM in the WWE library. Also, progress reports for the 2nd 9 weeks were sent home today.
W M S Picture day is tomorrow, Thursday, October seventeenth. No money will be needed at this time. Proofs will be sent home at a later date.
The Letcher County Schools will operate on a one hour delay for Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to allow bus drivers to have better visibility of any remaining debris on or near the roadway.
The Letcher County Schools will be closed on Monday, September 30. We still have many families without power and roads covered in debris from the storms. We want to thank all those working to get the electricity restored and roads cleared.
