This message is for all student drivers. KY State Law requires that all student drivers be in good academic & attendance standing at the end of each semester. The law says that schools will use academic & attendance data from the previous semester of the school year to determine whether 16 and 17-year-old students are compliant. If deemed noncompliant, the student’s driver’s license or permit will be revoked. This process directly connects schools with the Kentucky Division of Driver Licensing. Students must be passing five or more classes and cannot have more than 8 unexcused absences. Please take care of all attendance issues before the close of the semester to prevent losing your license.
We are accepting parent nominations for our SBDM Council until tomorrow at 4:00. If any parent who will have a student enrolled in LCC for the 2024-25 school year is interested in serving on our SBDM council, please pick up an application in the front office before the close of school tomorrow. Tyler Holbrook's bus will be a few minutes late this morning. This is the bus that travels from Deane, across Rock House, Jackhorn, Goose Creek to Neon.

Juniors and Parents: We have ACT Student Reports available for pickup in the guidance office. Students can stop by and sign for those. Scores should also be available on the student's ACT account.
Seniors who are interested in going on the trip to Dollywood with the senior class need to have the $100 trip fee paid by next Friday, March 22nd. The trip is scheduled for May 1st. We will depart LCC at 6:30 a.m. and return by 10:00 p.m. If you have earned profit from candy sales, your balance, if any, is due that day as well.

Hello! The representative from Herff Jones will be at LCC on Tuesday, February 27th from 11:00-12:30 to take cap and gown orders. Students will also be able to check balances and make payments.
