We are working diligently to get our students back to school. We had hoped the warmer temperatures the last few days would be enough, unfortunately, many side roads and bus turns are still icy. We are working with the county to clear as many areas as possible and will continue to do so. We appreciate your patience as we work to get back to school. We miss our students and are looking forward to having them return. However, their safety is our top priority. Unfortunately, Letcher County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 28, 2024.
