Bus # 2122 Aaron Holbrook's bus, in the McRoberts area, will be about 20 min late this morning

Tyler Holbrook's bus will be a few minutes late this morning. This is the bus that travels from Deane, across Rock House, Jackhorn, Goose Creek to Neon.

We are excited to inform you that Letcher County Public Schools will be offering an enrichment camp this summer at Cowan Elementary for students who are currently enrolled in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The camp will run from June 10-June 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, with both breakfast and lunch provided. If you don’t have access to complete the online form, you can call your child’s school or Central Office and someone will assist you in filling out the form.

Bus 1622, will be 15-30 minutes late this morning due to a tree across the road.

Arlie Boggs Elementary School will be CLOSED today, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, due to a power outage. All other Letcher County Schools will be on the regular schedule.

MJP and FNMS will be closed for today, March, 13, 2024 due to a water outage. All other schools are on the regular schedule.

Bus 720, in the Roxanna area and across Mill branch area will be running approximately 25-30 minutes late this morning. Please be out watching for the bus. thank you

Due to a tree on a power line, MJP and FNMS afternoon buses may be delayed in bringing students home as some of the routes will need to be adjusted. This is for the afternoon runs from MJP and FNMS only.

Bus #720 Jordan Maggard’s bus will be about 20 minutes late this afternoon. They have to reroute due to a traffic obstruction.

Hello! The representative from Herff Jones will be at LCC on Tuesday, February 27th from 11:00-12:30 to take cap and gown orders. Students will also be able to check balances and make payments. If you have any questions, please call the high school.

Good afternoon. Any student - boys or girls- in grades 6, 7, and 8 who wish to play middle school soccer are asked to meet at the Whitesburg Middle School Football field to sign up and receive information. This is for any middle school student in the county. The meeting will take place on Monday, February 19th at 5:30pm. Thank you.
