Due to a tree on a power line, MJP and FNMS afternoon buses may be delayed in bringing students home as some of the routes will need to be adjusted. This is for the afternoon runs from MJP and FNMS only.

We are happy to share that power has been restored at Martha Jane Potter and we are continuing our school day as normal.

Good afternoon,

Good afternoon, Martha Jane Potter families. The Letcher County Sheriff has contacted us asking that parents please do not block the road at any time during our evening pickup.
We ask that you please do not come early to line up for parent pickup. Parent pickup begins at 2:45 and we ask that you not arrive before 2:40 pm.
We also ask that you not block the highway or the county road in front of TNT Gas. For safety purposes and to be courteous to our neighbors, you should never wait stopped on these roads.
If you arrive early, you may line up on the shoulder of the 805 connecter road (the straight stretch between Hwy. 119 and Hwy 805).
Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe and supporting our local business and neighbors.
