If you have questions or do not have access to the internet, please contact the office of your child’s school and they can provide alternate access to the information.

State testing begins tomorrow morning for grades 3rd - 5th. Please make sure to have your student to school by 7:50. Students will also need their chromebooks fully charged.

Awards will be given out to current 4th and 5th grade students who scored proficient or distinguished during last year's state testing. We would like to invite parents and families of current 4th and 5th grade students to attend the program.
We are excited to inform you that Letcher County Public Schools will be offering an enrichment camp this summer at West Whitesburg Elementary for students who are currently enrolled in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The camp will run from June 2-June 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. The enrollment form is on the Letcher County Public Schools Facebook page, however, if you don’t have access to Facebook, you can call your child’s school or Central Office and someone will assist you in filling out the form.
