Today, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, will be an N T I day for the Letcher County Schools. Students will work from home following the procedures established by their teachers.
Whitesburg Little League will have spring registration on February 10th, 17th, and 24th at the Letcher County Rec Center from 12-2:00 pm.
Spark Athletics tumbling classes will be held at West Whitesburg Elementary on Tuesdays after school starting tomorrow, February 6th. Classes will be offered from 3-4 pm and 4-5 pm each week. Tuition is 46 dollars per month with a 25 dollar annual registration fee.
Starting Monday, February 5th West Whitesburg Elementary will no longer allow cars to line up for afternoon dismissal until 2:00 PM. This change is due to school safety concerns and to eliminate unnecessary traffic during evening preschool dismissal.
